</blockquote><div><br>I also think this is a good suggestion. <br></div>The ALSA pcm pulse plugin should have more arguments than device/server: it could also let the client describe the stream further. <br>Unfortunately, that&#39;s not something you could change after opening the device AFAIK (changing device args).
