<br>A few weeks ago, something (probably a software install via synaptic) switched me from alsa (with OSS emulation) to pulse (for which I set up ALSA emulation).<br><br>I'm OK with that, but it's brought a problem with it. Sound keeps stopping working. If I log out and back in, it'll usually work for hours or days, and then stop again.
