</div>Hmmm, dunno. On shutdown it could be that pulse is killed too early<br>
(e.g. before the sound can finish playing), but that's just a guess.<br>
Doesn't explain startup not working....<br>

For reassurance, it *does* work here so it's not a fundamental problem<br>
with the design.... (I know that doesn't really help tho' ;))<br>
