Built on Gentoo with gcc 3.4.3. Test machine is a dual P3 700 with 0.5G of
RAM. Numbers refer to footnotes. All tests performed at 16bpp.

Basic tests: VT switch, resolution switch, KDE 3.3.

Card DDX VT Res KDE
ATI Mach64 ati PASS PASS PASS
ATI Rage Fury Maxx r128 PASS PASS PASS
ATI FireGL 8800 radeon PASS PASS PASS
#9 Revolution IV i128 FAIL 1 PASS PASS
Intel i740 i740 PASS PASS PASS
nVidia TNT2 Ultra nv PASS PASS PASS
Rendition Verite 2200 rendition PASS 2 PASS PASS
S3 Virge s3virge PASS PASS PASS
S3 Savage 3D savage PASS PASS PASS
S3 Savage 2000 savage PASS PASS PASS
3dfx Voodoo5 tdfx PASS PASS PASS

1 - Garbled text console on VT switch.
2 - Switch from server to VT is shifted by one character cell. VT-VT switch
and VT-server switch are fine.

DRI tests: DRM load, DRI server setup, glxgears, glmatrix. Rage Fury Maxx was
omitted as not yet supported. Indirect rendering worked on all cards.

Card DRI DRM Server glxgears glmatrix
ATI Mach64 mach64 PASS PASS PASS 1 PASS 1
ATI Rage Fury Maxx r128 PASS 2 PASS 2 FAIL 3 FAIL 3
ATI FireGL 8800 r200 PASS PASS PASS PASS
Savage 3D savage FAIL 4
3dfx Voodoo5 tdfx PASS PASS FAIL 5 FAIL 5

1 - Locked up once in MMIO mode, otherwise stable.
2 - drm driver initialized both r128 chips, and server saw them, but...
3 - locked up after a few seconds of glxgears, or on startup, or just
whenever. This particular r128 is still not formally supported by DRI so
this is not a regression as such.
4 - drm loaded but did not detect the device. Not a regression, my
particular savage3d's PCI ID isn't in the DRM's list yet.
5 - tdfx failed to work due to a broken glide3 package, not Xorg's fault.

Render tests: rendercheck with RenderAccel enabled. All cards without Render
acceleration passed rendercheck.

Card rendercheck
ATI FireGL 8800 FAIL

There's a chance that this is a compiler bug, film at 11.

Further tests as my time allows, overall it looks solid.
