[Roadster] blank maps & problems importing data

Barry,

There are still some bugs in the data importing.  I'm hoping to switch
to an externally developed library for all importing, so I'm hesitant to
spend too much time fixing things there.  If I remember correctly,
importing of Massachusetts works perfectly.

Also note that the final goal is to import and pack the road database
ourselves instead of putting users through the slow process.

Where did you get the "caution: exlcuded filename not matche: *RTE"
error?
