<pre>Once libsoup has webdav support, it would be fun and relatively easy to create
a custom channel for subscribing to changes on a folder/collection (that's
essentially how smb does, so I guess that's enough for a filesystem protocol)
It's essentially just a phodav & gvfs implementation then.
Eventually, it might be a good idea to write an IETF RFC about this.</pre>
