During my testing, I was under the impression that while I was testing with
a 1024x768 screen resolution and a 400x400 video, a whole 1920x1200 image
was encoded every time instead of the 400x400 area I would have expected to
see encoded. It could be worth checking if that's really happening, and if
yes, to try to get it to only encode the 400x400 area. A word of warning: I
tried to look into that, and the code to get there seemed quite
complicated...
