Hello Stephen,

Could you check with wireshark what actually is being send, of course in case that 192.168.1.7 is not blocking your communication (iptables ...).

Subject: [Spice-devel] no connection with spicec.exe

Hi,
When I try to connect to a virtual machine I have the following error message in spice.log file:

1307945078 INFO spice : Application::main: starting ???
1307945078 INFO spice : RedPeer::connect_unsecure: Connecting 192.168.1.7 5900
1307945099 WARN spice : RedChannel::run: failed to connect: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. (10060)
1307945099 INFO spice : WinMain: Spice client terminated (exitcode = -3)
What does that mean? What do I need to check before I try to connect with spicec?

Thanks and best regards,
Stephen
