Because these patches should help just as much to build on the
following systems, hopefully:
* FreeBSD, OpenBSD, etc.
* OS X
* Any other POSIX-compliant operating system

If anyone has a readily available machine with one of the above OSes,
I would be interested in hearing if spice-server now compiles cleanly.
