That means 0.24 won't build on older distros without a patch. The phodav
support will be optional in 0.25 if I'm not mistaken. Maybe phodav will
also get a patch to build with older glibs.

glib is different from glibc :) Ubuntu 12.04 has glib 2.32.1.
