first of all, as already said in rh bug you have to update to latest stable
version 0.8.2 which should be available for your distro.

clicking before playing is how swfdec plugin worked before 0.8.0 which have an
autoplaying feature that remembers your latest choices.

works for me, if you see totem they probably aren't flash files

the rewind problem has already a bugzilla entry against youtube.com
