Hi Riccardo,

Thanks for your answer. It seems that the gstreamer-bad plugin has the necessary decoder for flv.

The gstreamer-bad is a large collection of plugins and I would like to have flv support only. Could you give me some hint on what should be the configure options?

Also, just installing the codec probably won't be enough and I need to hack into swfdec code so that the flv related functions are used. Can you tell me where do I need to make these changes?

Thanks and Regards,
Hi,

I am trying to play .flv files on swfdec compiled for sh4 target architecture using a directfb backend.

Somehow there is no suitable decoder found for this format. According to the wiki, the 0.8.4 version should play these files.

Do I need to install any additional dependencies? What am I missing?
swfdec decodes flv, probably you are missing audio and video codecs to decode what is contained in the flv. These decoders should be provided by gstreamer plugins like -good, -bad and -ugly.
