Hi,
please consider implementing the possibility to have Standard Output of a
systemd.exec unit mailed to a given mail address. This would make using timer
units as drop-in cron replacement much easier, since many cron mechanisms rely
on the cronjob's result being mailed.
Mail delivery can most easily be accomplished via /usr/lib/sendmail (stanard
cron doesn't do it any other way), but of course one could also configure SMTP
Server, Port number, Username, Password and From: address in systemd's global
or unit configuration.
Greetings
Marc
