TTYReset= shouldn't have any effect on the font really, it just resets
the actual TTY to sane default, but this does not involve resolutions or
fonts or anything like that. 

The problem is that the font loading doesn't really work properly if you
have a graphical screen in foreground like plymouth. This is a
limitation of the kernel, but I wouldn't hold my breath, nobody wants to
touch the VT stuff in the kernel anymore, it's helpless...
