Dear Developers,
my employee, the SPECS GmbH www.specs.de, produces and sells surface
science components. Together with our hardware we ship in house
programmed software.
For a new application which is currently developed, we need, as usual,
some new icons. The icons from the Tango project look very good and we
would like to use these icons.
But some things I would like to get clarified:
1.) Are we allowed to use your icons in commercial, non-free, software ?
(The license http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/ states 'yes'
if I understand it properly, but feel free to correct me)
2.) If we are allowed to use the icons we would give you credit for the
icons in the About Dialog of the program.
2.) If we would like to alter the icons, the altered icons have to be
under the same license and we would give credit to the original
developers (you). Correct?
3.) Some icons we would like to have are missing, so the questions is if
you would be interested (for money) to create some new icons (approx.
10). The license of the custom made icons can be of course also CC-ASa 2.5.
Thanks for you help and please CC me on replies
