[Tango-artists] tango-project.org vs tango.freedesktop.org

Hello,

I noticed that http://tango-project.org now redirects to
http://tango.freedesktop.org (and it may have for some time).  Is that a
significant move?

I ask since org.tango-project... was used as a package name for the jar
artifact available on the Maven central repository:

http://tango.freedesktop.org/User:Heuermh

When I build the 0.8.1 version I could update the package name to
org.freedesktop.tango... to match.


Finally, would it be possible to send an email notice to this mailing list
when a new version of the naming utils or the base icon library is
available?
