Hi guys, My name is coli and I'm a computer science at Valladolid University (Spain). I'm going to participate in a open source contest (<a href="http://concurso-softwarelibre.us.es/">http://concurso-softwarelibre.us.es/ </a>). My project consists of an Icon management app. This is intended to be like a music management app like iTunes or banshee or like F-sport for images but oriented to manage libraries of icons. The app should keep a list of icons ordered by sizes, names, etc... The app should have some other functionality like the option to lunch an edit application like GIMP or Inkscape for a selected icon or search the icon library by name or subject. It aims to be and app for icon developers and may to user in order to help them to switch its icons themes on Gnome or Kde. The app should support freedesktop's standards for icon naming and others. I will know if my project is accepted or not by 13 Oct but I would like to start working as soon as possible (assuming it will be accepted). I would like you to help me capturing requisites and features you consider important and in some time even to test the app. I hope you to enjoy the project.
