Well, not lie so much, but (for example):

    The "presence-status" property

    [...]

    This may be an empty string if this TpContact object has not been set up to
track TP_CONTACT_FEATURE_PRESENCE. It is never NULL.

    Default value: NULL

There's some inconsistency here... :-)
