Work towards patching this bug has begun; the Telepathy developers and myself
are working towards a specification that will define how OTR will interact and
be built into Telepathy. Once the specification is complete we will begin the
process of programming OTR into Telepathy. Regular updates will be made via the
Telepathy mailing list, and a monthly summary will be posted to
