Before my patch:

% mc-tool update bonghits string:foo=bar
zsh: segmentation fault  mc-tool update bonghits string:foo=bar

After my patch:

% ./build/util/mc-tool update bonghits string:foo=bar
lt-mc-tool update: 'bonghits' is not a valid account name
