I am quiet new at looking into telepathy and didnt find my way around yet.

mmh, this is the same for all IMservices I use, they all show the ID and not
the contacts name (to get me right, we are talking about requests and
menu-title only, in conversations the text-msg-line does show the contacts name
in front of it.)

So if I get it right, the plugin does already do the match and not the maemoUI
so all I see is already wrong...?
