Well.. See the mail to Rob Taylor. I hope I made some things clear.
It is just to seperate discussions which are not directly related to 
Telepathy. It is the same with Phonon which is the KDE layer on top of a 
multimedia framework like gstreamer.
Do you really want to hear every discussion related KDE details? ;)

The name was a decision of the KDE people. I'm engineer, I'm interested in 
solutions. :)
