Good decision. It will improve client-side input method supports.

To accomplish such situation, we should publish well-written
security considerations and requirements document for uim bridge
implementors. It will automatically prevent invalid bridges such
as iiimf-uim if IIIMF does not meet our requirements. And we
must fairly accept iiimf-uim if it meet our requirements based
on the document.

Although you are probably thinking iiimf-uim or iiimf-scim-uim
must not exist, it must be accomplished by logical and fair
way. We are currently published insufficient documents about uim
security consideration (although some your opinion message
fragments in Japanese exists). The uim project is currently
being considered as obscure and selfish project by the public
viewpoint of the world. We must be open.
