Detailed Description:
-----------------------------
This bug is more future proofing than anything else, and I know there is a lot
to performance, but this bug is easy to observe. I started weston with a
resolution of 2880x1800 (Apple Retina resolution) - specified in weston.ini. I
then launched clickdot and resized the window to near max, at the end of this
resize performance was noticeably degraded and resizing was choppy.

I did this under X11 because I don't have a screen capable of these
resolutions. Maybe someone with an ultra high resolution monitor can help out
here?

Steps to Reproduce:
----------------------------
0. Modify weston.ini to high resolution (2880x1800 for me)
1. start weston under X11
2. ./clickdot
3. Resize to almost maximum of Weston window, observe that resize performance
and clickdot performance is poor.</pre>
