        <pre>When closing the desktop-shell unlock dialog window from the "x" button in the
titlebar, Weston indicates that the weston-desktop-shell dies after the lock
surface disconnects and is gone:

However, gdb indicates that the weston-desktop-shell exits normally. 
Nonetheless, the desktop-shell shouldn't exit in the first place.
