        <pre>If I read this correctly, the first suggestion would result in ABS_X carrying
different information to ABS_MT_POSITION_X of either touch. I don't think
that's a good idea but that's mostly gut feeling, I'm sure if that would break
anything.

I think keeping the accurate touch info for touch 1 is better, so your second
approach. What type of libinput changes do we need though? it looks like
changing that in the kernel would give us sufficient information in libinput to
just keep doing what we're doing right now.</pre>
