I have a regular touchpad with two separate buttons (not those pads that are
both sensitive and clickable). I tried to enable clickfinger behaviour to be
able to:
- emulate right click by resting two fingers on the pad and clicking on the
left physical button
- emulate middle click by resting three fingers on the pad and clicking on the
left physical button. This is by far the most interesting since I already have
physical right button.
I'm using this as a model:
http://wayland.freedesktop.org/libinput/doc/latest/clickpad_softbuttons.html#clickfinger
I'm using the following command to test:
libinput-debug-events --set-click-method=clickfinger
I can only get left button events, not middle nor right events.
