Can't compile newest wayland due to mesa changes?

I build libxcb (and also xcb-proto, which was in the xcb/proto 
repository) and that enabled mesa to compile past the glx part. However 
it still failed with this problem:

   CC     libgbm_dri_la-gbm_dri.lo

backends/dri/../../../egl/wayland/wayland-drm/wayland-drm.h:5:41: fatal 
error: wayland-drm-server-protocol.h: No such file or directory
