Side switch event (normally translated into right or middle button
click) will only be sent when stylus tip touches tablet. Side switch
event is released if tip stops touching tablet or the switch is
released by end user.

My explanation above is what it works in xf86-input-wacom now. I am
not sure how libinput will handle it.
