I don't have any definitive answers but you'll want to get 3D working in any event. You can check your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file, <a href="http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/FeatureMatrix">http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/FeatureMatrix</a> or ask in #nouveau. So far as the general error messages, something seems strange with your system or installation that's confusing weston or, that's triggering a bug. I'd recommend getting hardware acceleration working first, then proceed from there.<br>
