[Xcb] seek for advice for writing window manager

hi,everyone,I want to write a very cooll windowmanager
but ,now I have only some very basic knowlege about
the windowmanager,just liker a usual user.
could you give me some advices ?
such as some useful book,small codes and others thanks in advance.
