[Xcb] xcb does not compile on solaris 8

Huh.  Interesting.  I'm not sure what Solaris-specific stuff
we have anyway at this point...  Anyhow, I'm reluctant to
touch anything without a detailed bug report and someone to
test our "fixes".  Thanks for bringing it up, though!
