while I would tend to agree in the general case, I think libxcb*
packages are quite specific and either pulled directly by packages
depending on it, in which case users don't care about them; or by
developers who need its -dev packages, in which case they probably
know what they're doing.

That'd be “X Window System”; anyway, thanks for the suggestion, but
that seems rather convoluted.

I'll wait a bit for comaintainer feedback, but I guess I'm going to
-done or +wontfix this bug.
