[Xcb] XKB/XCB

Can anyone give me replies on the following ASAP

1) Exact status of XKB! as in how much is done and how much is left?

2) Short coming in current xkb, that needs to be eradicated (or modified )

3) Any other points that I need to keep in mind

I have already gone through

2010, pharris discussion on API )

and going through

So please help me asap
