ChangeWindowAttributes is what did the trick! I suspected it to be something silly... Thanks a lot for your help, it certainly helped me understand xcb a bit better. I&#39;ll test for any lockups or threading problems now and post about it if they occur. For now this issue seems to be solved.<div>
