<pre>one additional hint for other users: Steam ships its own copy of
libxcb.so.1.1.0 which does not include the "xcb_send_fd" symbol. If you see
this bug and have Steam installed, best check the '~/.local/share/Steam' folder
for incompatible libxcb versions. Usually you can just rename these and restart
Steam (however you have to remember to move the Steam versions out of the way
after each Steam update).</pre>
