I think Havoc talked to to Jim about this some earlier, but to
confirm and give some more details.

We'd like to give a talk entitled, say:

A unified view of improving X desktop rendering

Which would cover basically most of the stuff that we've been
working on here recently.

 - What we'd like to achieve as the end results
 - Experiments with compositing managers (metacity and luminocity)
 - Synchronization (update sync counters)
 - Using Cairo as the rendering layer (Pango/GTK+/Cairo integration,
   maybe something on Cairo/PDF integration)

Hopefully graphics and demo-heavy. We could go into some more detail
about particular topics in other sessions as necessary. I'd guess
that an hour slot would be about the right length for the talk.

Presenting will be myself, Søren Sandmann, Kristian Høgsberg and
Diana Fong in some sort of tag-team fashion. (Maybe with an
appearance by Carl, though he's hoping to do a separate talk on
Cairo as well.)

Regards,
					Owen
