Looks reasonable and like a simple config file for the auto: moniker to me.

When I wrote about meta-config data I had in mind information about what 
options exist, how they relate and what values are allowed etc. for a package 
(application).

Does that mean as it is planed at the moment all apps would need to be 
switched over to UniConf to make use of it?
