This is somewhat off-topic, but I suspect new KDE code shouldn't just
start using DBUS code while other KDE code is still using DCOP anyway.

I think the best way to do it would be to for new code to still use
the existing KDE framework and when the underlying protocol in the
framework is changed from DCOP to DBUS, everything else will be
upgraded automatically.
