100% agree, it's definitely a standard. A simple action item here would
just be to go through the specs page and move the locations of the ones
that we know are actually standards out of the drafts section. Can
somebody just go ahead and do this? It's a cosmetic thing, but appearances
matter.

More useful would be some concrete idea of what it means to be a standard
rather than a draft. Presumably a commitment to never break backwards
compatibility, but we already have that for a few specs really don't we?
At least it would be so painful to break .desktop files now nobody would
dare suggest it .....
