Seems you send us a draft. That's quite messy. What do you expect ? We
want use to reimplement QuickLook ?

Amongst other things, i agree it would be nice to get a standardized way
to generate preview. Preview are not only useful for nautilus. Each open
dialog should provide preview. Is it possible to provide a common dbus
interface to get a preview from a document. Does fd.o provide a
specification for filetype/application association ? Would be nice to
have a common way to get a preview for any file. I don't know if dbus is
one more time the solution. However, that would be nice.
