Yes, that's indeed sufficient. I did not know Gnome has something like
that running.
I'm using KDE, and not aware there is something simular here.
This daemon is indeed the broker mentioned before in this thread.

Indeed when there is such a daemon, it's easy.
But when there isn't such a daemon??
