Hi Dave,

The c-tools in the xliff-tools repository haven't been updated since mid-2005, so would be quite out of date by now sorry.

If you're on a windows box I would suggest trying the (.NET) okapi tools (
http://okapi.sf.net) as well, as they are quite comprehensive and have very good support for PO. Also, the (python) translate toolkit (http://translate.sf.net) have support for PO->XLIFF, and they are working actively on converting to using XLIFF internally.

hope this helps!

cheers,
asgeir

On 10/21/06, mclellan_dave@emc.com <
described at http://xliff-tools.freedesktop.org/wiki/Download, using the
anonymous CVS checkout. I'm just experimenting, trying to get a feeling
for the xliff/po process.

I've also tried the src tar file and I've run into a few build problems,
now stuck on unavailabilty of the getopt.h file. This is simple enough
to bypass, but:

My general question is: Is anyone out there using the xliff-tools
