Summary: Some fonts in xorg-x11-syriac-fonts have wrong
                    codepoints
           Product: xorg
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Fonts/other
        AssignedTo: xorg-bugzilla-noise at freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: llch at redhat.com

I have done some strace from the fonts with the sample code testing
http://www.openi18n.org/subgroups/testsuites/interactive/text-editor-tests/general-text-editor-test-scenario.html
, and *at least* couple fonts in this font package have problems on follow
codepoints. This will make document which using these syriac fonts produce wrong
chars hence maybe wrong meaning.

* U+01A5 is wrong with Estrangelo Midyat, Estrangelo Quenneshrin, East Syriac
Ctesiphon.
* U+0375, U+0385 are wrong with Serto Urhoy, Serto Malankara, Serto Kharpnt.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. explictly select the following font from any application
2. open the file
3. look at those glyphs

Actual results:
wrong glyphs

Expected results:
at least empty in font (so that it can fallback to use other fonts) or correct
glyphs
