The program xmodmap crashes on Fedora Core 3 when it reads the file
/etc/X11/Xmodmap file.  The output of xmodmap -verbose on this file is:

! /etc/X11/Xmodmap:
Segmentation fault

Executing the same in gdb yields

Starting program: /usr/X11R6/bin/xmodmap -verbose /etc/X11/Xmodmap
(no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging
symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...! /etc/X11/Xmodmap:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
