just got the latest CVS, still the same problem here :(

Anything I could do to help finding what the problem is? Debugging or enhanced
error message stuff?

I tried several combinations of parameters, but I was unable to get it working.
It always
a) gives those errors and screen is freezed
b) or does nothing (no shadows/transparency)

I really neeeed this ;)
