[Bug 2859] Random blanking using the DVI ouput on a Radeon 9200SE card and the radeon driver

I tried using
  Option      "DisplayPriority" "BIOS"
and
  Option      "DisplayPriority" "HIGH"
instead of the default value "AUTO", but this did not solve the blanking 
problem, the xv problem nor the problem with showing the DVI modes 1400x1050,
1280x102 and 800x600 properly.

According the manual for My Eizo FlexScan L885 display the Vertical Scanning 
frequency in DVI mode is limited to the range 59-61 Hz.

The manual also says concerning Digital Input that "Only the following 
resolutions with frequency can be displayed on this model"
Resolution Frequency Dot Clock     Remarks
...
1600x1200  60 Hz     162 MHz (max) VESA

For this reason I don't think that it makes sense to try a lower frequency like 
50 or 55 Hz.

Bug 1129 seems similar to the one that I'm seening and it concerns also the same 
ASUS card that I have:
