my computer is a IBM Thinkpad 390E (latest bios revision)
my distribution is ArchLinux
and i'm having several problems

first: i can't startx with the 2.4.28 kernel

second: with kernel 2.6.10 i have problems viewing the xmms playlist in 16
and 15 bits (24 bits works fine but very slow because of the lack of hwd
