[Bug 1241] Black screen if corepointer device not found

No corepointer found

The solution is to manually edit xorg.conf and change the mouse input device to
a valid device id /dev. But X shouldn't lock up like that if it can't find the
mouse! I get a blank screen and absolutely no input (from keyboard or mouse). I
had to remotely log into my computer and restart it.
