Hi,

I had the same problem with the xserver. Then I found a forum somewhere
(I don't remember where :)) where somebody said, that one should check
out the xtrans from the branch XTRANS-0_1-RELEASE instead of the trunk.

I did so and could start xserver successfully but because it hangs as
soon as I do more than an xterm, I changed back to xorg.
